Training Course Dates

Below we give the dates and locations of courses for in-house Trainers and also give an indication regarding availability of places left on them. 

We do try and update this page with new dates as they are confirmed, however courses can fill up quickly and so may not get listed.  It will usually be best to contact us with your requirements.

The long awaited PATS Trainers Refresher course is now available and is over one day. 

The new 'Blue' Round of MiDAS is now available and DAT Refresher courses, held over one day, are now running.

The Refresher course for the Car and MPV Observers (already delayed by over one year) still has no anticipated launch date. If you have a certificate that has expired, or is about to expire just carry on with what you are currently doing and contact us so that we can keep you in touch with developments.

If you are offered refresher training it is advisable to question what new material is available

DAT Induction Courses:

(New Blue Round) 

Standard DAT: Heysham, 18th to 20th May 2010.

Accessible DAT: Corby, 1st to 4th June 2010. Spaces available

Acessible DAT: Scotland, 14th to 18th June. Location to be confirmed

We could also arrange a special course on your site (usually if you have 3 or more candidates) subject to mutually convenient dates.

DAT Refresher Courses:

Courses already booked:

17th May 10, Northampton. Full.

24th May 10, Neath, south Wales. Limted spaces.

If you have DAT's that need the new Refresher course, and the above dates/locations are not suitable, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

PAT Induction Courses:

These courses are usually arranged on demand.

PAT Refresher Courses:

Car MPV Observer Induction Courses

These courses are usually arranged on demand. 

As mentioned above, the CTA have announced that Refresher training for Car and MPV Observers has been delayed. Contact us to register your interest, but in the meantime carry on with the material you have.

Passenger Assistant Trainer or Car & MPV Observers Conversion Courses

These courses are for Trainers within MiDAS for Minibus Drivers (DAT's). Due to the overlap of some material a current DAT does not have to do the full Induction course to be come a Trainer within the other programmes, but a shorter Conversion course.

These courses are usually arranged on demand.
